Meet Amy Dooley
Hi! I’m Amy Dooley, an experienced Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of dedicated practice in helping individuals with complex disabilities. I qualified from the University of East Anglia in 2000 and am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). My passion lies in empowering clients to regain independence and live fulfilling lives.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked in diverse settings, including the NHS, Social Services, and independent practices. I specialise in supporting young people, adults, and older individuals with both mental health and physical disabilities. Since 2011, I have been working independently, providing clinical expertise as an Occupational Therapist and taking instructions from both Claimant and Defendant solicitors while working as a Care and Rehabilitation Expert Witness.
A Personal Connection
to Spinal Cord Injury
Spinal cord injury has always been a specialist field that I have enjoyed working in. My passion for this area became even stronger after my own daughter sustained a spinal cord injury in 2021, at 13 years of age. Her strength and determination to live her life to the fullest has inspired me to continue helping others with spinal cord injuries to achieve their dreams. I am dedicated to supporting individuals and their families through the challenges they face, and I am committed to finding creative and practical solutions to maximise their independence.
